As part of our team, you’ll play a crucial role in completing elevator installations and modernizations from start to finish, ensuring our clients receive safe, efficient, and high-quality service. Key Responsibilities:
Execute complete elevator installations and modernizations, including planning, setup, testing, and final adjustments to meet safety and regulatory standards.
Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting on both hydraulic and traction elevator systems to ensure optimal performance.
Diagnose issues with elevators, escalators, and moving walkways, using diagnostic tools and technical knowledge to provide timely and effective repairs.
Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals to guide accurate installations and repairs.
Follow all industry safety standards and protocols, maintaining compliance with ASME A17.1 and other relevant codes.
Communicate professionally with clients, providing updates on repairs, installations, and safety precautions.
Complete accurate documentation of all work performed, including service records and reports.
Manage inventory and maintenance of tools, ensuring all equipment is properly handled and stored.
Requirements:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in elevator installation, repair, and modernization.
Proven ability to complete elevator installations and modernizations independently from start to finish.
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; must be able to drive to job sites as needed.
State or local elevator mechanic license required (if applicable by jurisdiction).
Certified Elevator Technician (CET) or equivalent certification preferred.
Strong understanding of both hydraulic and traction elevators, with familiarity in escalators and moving walkways a plus.
Proficiency in using diagnostic tools, electrical testing equipment, and industry-specific software.
Excellent problem-solving skills with a strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, work in confined spaces, at heights, and in varying weather conditions.
Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and on-call as required.

Requirements
Experience and Technical Skills
Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in elevator installation, maintenance, repair, and modernization.
Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, technical drawings, and electrical schematics.
Advanced knowledge of both hydraulic and traction elevators, as well as familiarity with escalators and moving walkways is a plus.
Strong troubleshooting skills for diagnosing and repairing elevator equipment issues.
Licensing and Certification
Valid state or local elevator mechanic license, if required by jurisdiction.
Certified Elevator Technician (CET) or equivalent certification preferred.
OSHA safety certification and a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Physical Requirements
Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment (up to 50 lbs).
Comfortable working in confined spaces, at heights, and in various weather conditions.
Stamina to perform physically demanding tasks, including climbing, stooping, and standing for long periods.
